Stewed lentils with meat is a hearty and appetizing dish, rich in protein, iron, fiber and many other valuable substances for the human body. Most often it is cooked with pork. For such a recipe, take 400-500 g of fresh meat pulp, a glass of lentils, a large onion, 2-3 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil, 1 tbsp. a spoonful of tomato paste and a glass of purified water.
After washing the pork and cutting it into pieces about 2 cm, sprinkle the meat with salt and pepper, mix and set aside for 15-20 minutes. During this time, sort through the lentils, removing visible specks, and then rinse them several times under running water. Heating the vegetable oil in a cauldron, fry the peeled and finely chopped onion, and after a few minutes put the pork to it.
After frying the meat for 10-15 minutes, add the tomato paste, stir, add the lentils and fill it with water. Bring the contents of the cauldron to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer for about 50 minutes. After making sure that the lentils have become soft, remove from the stove and let the dish brew for another 10 minutes. Next, arrange on plates, garnish with finely chopped cilantro, parsley or other herbs.

Add 400 g of lentils, mix, put in portioned pots.Mix 200 ml of tomato sauce and 400 ml of boiling water, spilling the liquid into pots. With the lids on, keep in the oven for 30-40 minutes or longer, checking the readiness of the lentils.
- With beef and rice. Cut the washed and dried meat into medium-sized cubes. Heat the sunflower oil in a cauldron, fry the beef for 1-2 minutes over high heat, then add a little water, reduce the heat and leave to simmer. After removing the husk from the onion, cut it into half rings, add to the meat. Peel 3 large potatoes and 2 medium carrots, and scald 2 small tomatoes with boiling water and remove the skin. After cutting the vegetables into cubes, put in a cauldron, close the lid and leave to languish. After sorting and washing 300 g of lentils and 100 g of rice, add to vegetables and beef.
Salt the mass, put cumin, hot red pepper, pour water (500-600 ml) cook for another 20-30 minutes until all the ingredients are soft.
- With chicken stomachs and vegetables. Cut 500 g of the ventricles, fry them in a saucepan for 20 minutes. While they are cooking, peel and grate 1 carrot, halve 1 onion, and dice 1 eggplant. Put the vegetables to the stomachs, simmer for 10 minutes, then add 500 g of lentils, pour water to cover the entire mass, bring to a boil and leave on low heat. After 15 minutes, salt the dish, add Provence herbs and a few tablespoons of tomato paste. Stir and cook for about 10-15 more minutes, stirring occasionally.
- With chicken liver. Take 300 g of liver, rinse, cut into halves. Peel and chop the carrot, onion and 2 cloves of garlic.Pour a little vegetable oil into the pan, quickly fry the liver over high heat, add carrots, onions and garlic, pour in 2 tbsp. tablespoons of water, heat to a boil, reduce heat and simmer under a closed lid for 5 minutes. Add a spoonful of adjika, as well as coriander and curry, mix. Pour 150 g of washed red lentils into the pan, pour 400 ml of water, salt, bring to a boil and cook over low heat for about 15 minutes.
