How to prepare an anti-cellulite scrub from honey and coffee?
Being beautiful is the secret dream of every woman, however, various factors can interfere with this. Usually, cellulite interferes most with female attractiveness, which instantly relegates a slender and fit beauty to the background. It is good if the problem is episodic, and the lady herself has sufficient funds to seek professional help in solving the problem, however, this is not always the case. Fortunately, a woman can cook some simple beauty recipes herself at home.
A coffee and honey scrub is considered one of the best such remedies, as it helps not only with cellulite, but also with sluggish, unhealthy skin in any part of the body.
Composition and benefits
The combination of honey and coffee is not accidental - they perfectly complement each other, providing a bright healing effect. Honey, which acts as the basis of the mass, is an excellent nourishment for the skin - all its beneficial contents penetrate into the dermis when applied. Despite the strong stickiness of the product, honey helps to significantly moisturize the skin. As for coffee grounds, it first of all helps to scrub the skin, removing exfoliated particles, thereby achieving a natural shine.
With constant use, the skin acquires a characteristic coffee shade, reminiscent of a light tan, which is also considered an attractive phenomenon.
Recipe
Despite the pronounced healing effect, coffee and honey scrub is not difficult to make - it is extremely simple to prepare and does not require any special ingredients. All you need is ground coffee and honey in a ratio of 2: 1. To prepare a cosmetic product, you need to use not dry ground coffee, but wet coffee grounds, so the indicated amount of powder is brewed in a small amount of water. The resulting thick is filtered, and then thoroughly mixed with honey until a homogeneous composition is obtained. Naturally, complete dissolution will not occur - the scrub, in principle, assumes the presence of "abrasive" elements, so coffee particles will still stand out against the general background. You should not worry about this - this is the finished mixture.
In this case, the ingredients must be selected wisely. Naturally, instant coffee varieties are not suitable for these purposes, since coffee is basically absent in them, and even dissolves in water, while grounds are needed. As for natural varieties, there are no restrictions. But you should pay attention to an important recommendation - the coarser the grind, the better the coffee particles will exfoliate old skin.
Since honey, which gives the composition many useful functions, is also the basis for a scrub, you need to choose its liquid variety.
In winter and spring, liquid honey is problematic to find, unless it is genuine. If there is only a candied product, it needs to be warmed up a little so that it becomes thinner. The main thing is not to overdo it, because when heated, honey loses its beneficial properties very much. Of course, the proportions indicated in the recipe are approximate, and a woman can vary them somewhat, for example, if she wants the properties of one of the ingredients to be more pronounced. So, for simplified application to the body, it is necessary to increase the amount of honey - so the scrub will become thinner, but a full-fledged body mask involves an increase in the amount of coffee grounds.
What will it be useful for?
It is not for nothing that such a scrub is called anti-cellulite - when applied to the places of accumulation of adipose tissue, a noticeable restoring effect is observed. The fact is that a balanced composition removes both fat and harmful toxins from the body, thanks to which the figure again resembles the ideal female outline. At the same time, the caffeine contained in the thick promotes lifting, improves tone and stimulates the blood circulation of the skin, so that it receives better nutrition from the body. Honey masks wrinkles and makes the skin smooth and supple again, so the combined efforts of the two ingredients achieve an overall skin rejuvenation. However, the benefits of using a coffee and honey scrub do not end there, because it also perfectly fights the problems of the skin itself.
Coffee particles, which help to remove old pieces of the epithelium, allow the skin to renew itself faster, which is why it always looks fresh and shiny. Thanks to this care, the pores open, the skin interacts better with the air, due to which the metabolism in it normalizes. All the same thick helps not only exfoliate flaky skin, but also cleans the pores clogged with excessive amounts of sebum. As for honey, it also shows its best antiseptic properties here, removing inflammation and eliminating redness.
Pale, too dull skin is also not considered a model of beauty, so a coffee and honey scrub can be an easy, and most importantly, a completely safe and inexpensive alternative to tanning beds.
Application technique
Since the finished composition, due to the honey present in it, is noticeably sticky, it is considered most correct to apply the scrub with hands previously moistened with water. The skin itself should also be slightly moist. The application of the scrub is necessarily accompanied by a light massage, since the active ingredients must interact closely with the upper layers of the skin, and the particles of coffee grounds must provide light friction to separate the outdated epithelium. At the same time, strength must be measured - the sensations should be pleasant, and not painful in any way, otherwise, instead of a healing effect, everything will end with scratched and reddened skin.
Rubbing the composition into the epithelium continues for several minutes, but even after that the scrub should not be washed off immediately - it is recommended to leave it for a few more minutes as a nourishing mask. Due to this, the skin will continue to absorb useful substances and moisture from the composition for some time, becoming healthier and more beautiful.
It is recommended to wash off the coffee-honey mixture with warm water, although a contrast shower with alternating cold and hot water will not hurt to heighten the effect, then the lifting will appear more clearly.
Application frequency
As you know, even the most useful recipes, which are completely free of any harmful chemicals or toxins, can be harmful if abused instead of the expected improvement. Honey and coffee scrub will not be an exception - when using it, you need to know the measure, observing a certain frequency of application. If the skin is generally normal, the use of a healing composition is recommended with a frequency of no more than once or twice a week. It makes no sense to do this more often, otherwise the skin will not have time to renew itself, and the additional effect will not be noticeable.
If you scrub the skin less often or do it irregularly, during long breaks the skin can appear in its most unsightly form.
Another thing is if a woman is not lucky enough to be the owner of oily skin. In this case, more frequent use of a mixture of honey and coffee grounds is justified in order to actively cleanse the pores of sebum, so it is permissible to resort to scrubbing even every day. Despite the seriousness of the problem, it is also important not to overdo it here, since the procedure is a certain burden for the skin. Daily rubbing, even of medium intensity, will lead to cleansing of the pores along with the upper layer of the epithelium.
Abuse of the procedure and the rejection of exceptionally light movements is fraught with the appearance of redness, and in some cases even small wounds.
Contraindications
Since the coffee and honey scrub is made exclusively from natural products, there are no special restrictions on its use. It has practically no contraindications and will be useful for all skin types. Another thing is that honey is often a strong allergen. If a woman has an allergic reaction to foods with the addition of this ingredient, then applying it to the skin is also not worth it.
However, there is a way out of any situation, and if honey cannot be used because of the allergy provoked by it, scrubbing can be done using coffee grounds alone.Of course, a certain part of the benefits of the scrub, for which honey was responsible, will be lost in this case, however, all other benefits, most of which are provided by ground coffee beans, will remain.
