For those who adhere to a vegan lifestyle, that is, refuses to use animal products, there is a recipe that will allow you to enjoy your favorite product without violating your nutritional principles.

Required Ingredients:

  • coconut or nut milk - four hundred milliliters;
  • sugar syrup (agave nectar) - one hundred twenty-five milliliters;
  • vanilla extract - one teaspoon.

To get vegan condensed milk, pour coconut or nut milk into the slow cooker and activate its “Soup” mode setting for the next ten minutes. Watch out for the moment when the milk starts to boil, stir it thoroughly. Immediately after the milk begins to boil, change the mode setting of the multicooker to "Extinguishing" for forty minutes. Your task is to “boil down” the milk by half. In other words, the liquid should be reduced by half. In order not to do this by eye, take a long straw and mentally note the level of milk. Then you just need to wait until part of the milk is “boiled”. Check its level periodically.
