- rice - 0.5 cups;
- cottage cheese - 100 g;
- milk - 200 ml;
- muesli - 50 g;
- water - 200 ml;
- honey - 10 g;
- apple - 1 pc.;
- salt and sugar - to taste;
- ground cinnamon (optional).
Wash the rice thoroughly and cook in milk in a ratio of 1: 1. Salt and sweeten the finished porridge. Transfer to serving bowls. Add sliced apple, cottage cheese and muesli.
Just before serving, pour the dish with honey and lightly sprinkle with cinnamon.
Rice pancakes in sour cream and cinnamon sauce will also give you a hearty morning. This delicious dish will take you an hour to prepare.
You need to prepare the following products:
- round-grain rice - 100 g;
- milk fat content 3.2% - 1 cup;
- sour cream with a fat content of 20% - half a glass;
- granulated sugar - 2 tbsp. l.;
- chicken eggs - 2 pcs.;
- prunes - 30 g;
- flour - 125 g;
- butter - 25 g;
- raisins - 20 g;
- cinnamon (powder) - ½ g;
- salt - ¾ tsp;
- water.
Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Bake pancakes from the prepared dough.Rinse rice, then pour it with a glass of water. Bring to a boil and cook over low heat, without closing the lid, for 8-10 minutes, until all the water has boiled away. Pour milk into the pan, add a tablespoon of sugar, a little salt, bring to a boil again, and cook the rice for another 10 minutes, stirring regularly. Add the butter to the cooked rice mixture and mix well.
Cut prunes into small pieces, raisins - into 2 parts, add fruit to the porridge. Combine flour with sugar, sour cream, egg and cinnamon, beat everything. Put the same portion of rice porridge on each pancake, roll them up and put them on a baking sheet. Pour in sweet sour cream sauce. Bake the rolls in the oven at 220°C for 10-15 minutes.
In order to make the morning not quite ordinary, you can please the household with delicious rice pudding with strawberries. You will need:
- rice groats - 140 g;
- coconut milk - 0.5 l;
- strawberries - 200 g;
- coconut flakes - 3 tbsp. l.;
- refined sugar - 30 g.
Cook rice for 10 minutes until half cooked. Puree strawberries in a blender, then combine with refined sugar. Drain water from the rice pot, add milk and coconut flakes. Cook over low heat for about a quarter of an hour, not forgetting to stir. Make sure the milk doesn't evaporate completely. Put the finished pudding into bowls, pour strawberry syrup and leave to cool.
Decorate the dish with fresh strawberries just before serving.
Quick and easy for lunch
For a quick midday snack, you can make a crab stick salad in minutes. You will need the following products:
- crab sticks - 20 g;
- rice - 1.5 cups;
- mayonnaise;
- canned corn - a can;
- egg - 2 pcs.;
- salt - on the tip of a knife;
- greens - to taste.
Boil rice and cool.Hard boil chicken eggs. Crab sticks cut into cubes. Chop the eggs, chop the greens. Drain excess liquid from corn. Mix all ingredients and season with mayonnaise.
Dieters can make a salad using wild rice. It is necessary to prepare:

- garlic - 3 cloves;
- eggplant - 2 pcs.;

- zucchini - 1 pc.;
- sweet pepper - 2 pcs.;

To obtain the desired consistency, each housewife chooses her own way of cooking rice. Someone pre-boils it until half cooked, someone fries it in vegetable or olive oil. For baking, large refractory forms or portioned clay pots are suitable.
The choice of cereal directly depends on what you want to do.
For the basis of cereals and casseroles, a variety of round-grain rice is taken, and long-grain rice is chosen for the preparation of meat, mushroom and vegetable dishes, although both varieties of the product are completely identical in their taste characteristics.
In good rice, all grains are the same size.If you don't have a lot of time left for cooking, give preference to steamed rice, dishes with it cook faster.
For a special occasion, you can cook chicken stuffed with rice. You will need:
- chicken carcass;
- rice groats - 1 cup;
- sour cream - 45 g;
- vegetable oil - 35 ml;
- onion - 1 pc.;
- garlic - 2 cloves;
- carrot - 1 pc.;
- salt pepper.
Wash the chicken and place on a paper towel to drain excess liquid. Coat the carcass with sour cream and chopped garlic. Then prepare the filling. Boil the cereal until half cooked, chop the vegetables and sauté. Combine all ingredients, salt, add spices, mix.
Stuff the chicken with the mixture and fasten the carcass with toothpicks (you can make a few stitches with thread). It takes one and a half to two hours to bake the meat.

In order to please all households, it is enough to cook rice baked with meat. As a meat component, beef, pork or lamb can be used. You can add several types of meat at once.

- cereals - half a mug;
- carrot - 1 pc.;
- meat - 180 g;
- olive oil - 75 ml;

Grate the carrot, chop the onion. Saute vegetables with a few tablespoons of oil. In the same mixture, fry the rice for 6-8 minutes. - fresh-frozen fish - half a kilo;
- sweet pepper -1 pc.;
- cereals - 1 cup (it is better to take steamed rice);
- tomato paste - 30 g;
- flour - 2 tbsp. l.;
- onion - 1 pc.;
- carrot - 1 pc.;
- vegetable oil - 4 tbsp. l.;
- mayonnaise - a small jar;
- salt and pepper.

Chop the onion, grate the carrot. Defrost the fish fillet, remove the bones and chop. Salt, breaded in flour and fry.
Cook the groats until half cooked, chop the sweet pepper into strips. Put in the form in the following sequence: rice, carrot-onion frying, fillet, sweet pepper, make a mayonnaise net on top. Salt and sprinkle with seasoning. Mix the tomato paste with water and pour the dish with the resulting mixture. Put in an oven preheated to 180°C and bake for 30 minutes.
In a slow cooker
Cooking in a slow cooker is a pleasure. This is facilitated by its numerous options - special modes for some dishes ("Pilaf", "Porridge", "Buckwheat"), uniform heating of cooked products, the possibility of delaying the start of cooking for a specified time.
To cook lazy cabbage rolls in a slow cooker, you will need:
- Bulgarian pepper - 1 pc.;
- rice groats - 200 g;
- onion - 1 pc.;
- carrot - 1 pc.;
- minced meat - 500 g;
- egg - 1 pc.;
- cabbage - 350 g;
- vegetable oil;
- sour cream;
- tomato paste;
- salt, seasoning.
The indicated quantity of products is designed for four persons.
The cereal must be washed and put on the "Porridge" mode. Cook until half cooked. Shred the cabbage and pour hot water over it. Leave for 5 minutes. Then add minced meat, onion, cereal, egg, salt, pepper. Roll cutlets, breaded in flour. Pour oil into the bowl and set the "Frying" mode. Fry the cabbage rolls on each side for a few minutes.
The sauce is prepared in the oil from the cabbage rolls. To do this, the carrots are rubbed, the bell pepper is cut into small cubes, the vegetables are sautéed in the “Frying” mode. Stuffed cabbage rolls are put into the frying. At the same time, the sauce itself is prepared. Sour cream, cabbage water, salt, tomato paste and seasoning are mixed and poured over cabbage rolls. The dish is cooked for another 45 minutes in the "Baking" mode.
To prepare a traditional pilaf in a slow cooker, you will need:
- half a kilo of meat;
- onion - 2 pcs.;
- vegetable oil;
- rice - 1.5 cups;
- garlic - 1 clove;
- water - 3.5 cups.
Rinse the meat thoroughly and cut into small cubes, add seasonings, salt. Pour oil into the bowl and fry the meat for a quarter of an hour. Chop the carrot into strips, the onion into half rings. Combine vegetables with meat and fry for another 10 minutes. Pour in hot water and simmer the dish for a couple more minutes.
Rinse the rice, add to the semi-finished mass, smooth everything. Put an unpeeled clove of garlic in the middle of the dish. Bring the dish to readiness in the “Pilaf” mode.
It is recommended to serve pilaf with a salad of fresh vegetables.
On the stove
Delicious dishes using rice can be cooked in a regular frying pan. So, it's easy to surprise your friends with an international dish called Japanese Meatless Rice.
Required products:
- rice groats - 1 mug (it is better to choose Krasnodar);
- garlic - 4 small cloves;
- chicken eggs - 2 pcs. (products must be at room temperature, otherwise there is a risk of curdling);
- olive oil - 3 tbsp. l.;
- green onions - a few feathers (can be replaced with dill);
- kikkoman sauce.
Rinse rice and put to boil. Salt. Stir the cereal regularly so that the grains do not stick to the sides of the pan. Boil the cereal until half cooked.
While cooking rice, prepare the garlic. Clean it from the husk and chop. You can use the press, but then all the juice will flow out of the product and it will not be so fragrant, only cake will remain.
Pour oil into a frying pan, wait until it warms up, put chopped garlic. Put rice in there. Add beaten eggs to the rice-garlic mass, mix.
Chop onion, send to rice. Mix the ingredients, fry for a couple of minutes, continuing to stir. Pour half a mug of water, close the mold with a lid and simmer for a quarter of an hour. From the finished pot, the dish is laid out in portions and soaked in soy dressing.
If you want a rice side dish not with sauce, but with gravy, making the latter is easy. It is enough to combine soy sauce with chopped herbs and garlic. A fresh salad can be served with the dish.
On the stove, you can cook not only an appetizing dish for lunch and dinner, but also porridge for breakfast. To prepare your favorite rice porridge with dried fruits, you will need:
- milk - 2 cups;
- dried fruits (any) - 150 g;
- rice - 1 cup;
- margarine - ¼ pack;
- refined sugar - 45 g;
- vanilla extract - 5 ml;
- salt.
Place dried fruits in a saucepan, add boiling water. Insist half an hour.Then rinse, allow excess moisture to drain.
Rinse rice in several waters. Pour in milk and leave for 25 minutes. Then put the prepared mass on the stove, cover and cook for ½ hour. At the end of cooking, add butter and sugar to the porridge. Mix thoroughly, put dried fruits. Close the lid tightly and leave for 20 minutes.
Porridge must be consumed immediately, otherwise over time it will lose its taste and aroma.
