A smoothie for breakfast has a set of advantages that stem from the benefits of the components contained in the cocktail - fruits, berries, juices, dairy products, cereals, nuts and so on.
- Most of these drinks contain plenty of vitamin C, which strengthens the immune system and prevents infection with seasonal viral diseases and other infections.
- Lots of smoothies proteins and carbohydrates, and this is the very "fuel" that does not allow us to "fizzle out" throughout the day.
- Smoothies stimulates active brain activity, which is a great advantage of the morning cocktail.
- The substances included in its composition have a positive effect on the condition of the skin and act as antioxidants. Thanks to this nutrition, the body retains youth.

However, with all the health benefits of smoothies, they also have their downsides.
- A thick smoothie doesn't fill you up as well as a regular meal. since during its use you do not have to chew, which means that the brain does not receive the appropriate signals, and the feeling of satiety does not occur. So don't completely replace your normal breakfast smoothies. It is better to use it as an addition to more solid food and not to pull through a straw or just from a glass, but to eat with a teaspoon.
- Smoothies should not be eaten on an empty stomach as fruits are high in acid.. This is another argument in favor of the fact that completely replacing the usual morning meal with a drink is a big mistake.

A nutritious cocktail in the morning is prepared using a banana. There are many recipes using this fruit. For example, it will take no more than 10 minutes to prepare an apple-banana drink with cinnamon and almonds. The recipe will require:
