Recipes
There are two types of Camembert cheese: breaded and uncoated. In the first case, the slices are obtained with a crispy crust and a slightly liquid filling inside, in the second - a more juicy delicacy. As a rule, it is supplemented with berry sauce, as these two products are ideally combined with each other.
The delicate taste of cheese and the piquancy of the dressing will not leave anyone indifferent - this is an excellent dish for a romantic dinner.
Without breading
In this case, cheese is supplemented with lettuce leaves and herbs, they not only give a more attractive appearance to the dish as a whole, but also saturate it with vitamins. If you mix everything, you get a kind of salad with fried Camembert cheese, which can be considered dietary if fried in olive oil.
Components:
- 250 grams of cheese;
- vegetable / olive oil;
- a pinch of salt;
- black pepper;
- cherry / strawberry jam;
- 1 st. l. squeezed lemon juice;
- lettuce leaves;
- arugula;
- some greenery.
Rinse and dry the herbs and lettuce thoroughly.Next, you need to chop them and mix, salt, pepper and season with olive or vegetable oil of your choice. Camembert cut into slices and breaded: first, each piece is dipped in an egg, then in flour, then again in an egg and then in breadcrumbs. In order for the resulting crust to keep well and not deteriorate during frying, it is recommended to put the cheese in the refrigerator half an hour before cooking.
Olive oil is heated in a frying pan, where then breaded Camembert slices are placed and fried until golden brown on all sides. It should be fried over medium heat so that not only the crust is fried, but also the cheese inside is melted.As soon as the cooking process is over, the cheese should be laid out on a paper towel to remove excess oil. Whole
Frying Camembert whole is much easier than cutting it into pieces, since in this case you only have to work with one large slice.
