Possible harm
Dill can also cause harm. There are certain contraindications for its use.
- Hypotension. Earlier it was said that dill is recommended for people suffering from hypertension. And people suffering from hypotension, of course, should not use it.
- Element deficiency. Dill can be used to prevent this disease. However, for people who already suffer from a lack of nutrients in the blood, it is not recommended due to its diuretic effect.
- Pancreatitis. It is also not recommended for people with inflammation of the pancreas. Due to the effect it has on the intestines, it should not be consumed in pancreatitis in any case, otherwise there is a risk of exacerbating the problem.
- Poor eyesight. Dill dilates blood vessels, which is why many people who use dill notice a decrease in visual acuity. This effect is temporary and after stopping the reception, everything quickly returns to normal, but people with poor eyesight should still be careful with it.
- Pregnancy. Do not use dill during pregnancy. Under certain circumstances, it can provoke early labor or miscarriage.
