It is a good idea to make grape compote, which can not only be drunk in the summer, but also saved until the cold winter days.

The ancient Greeks were the first to learn about the benefits of grapes. It was they who realized that the berries can be used not only for making wine, but simply eaten. Many years later, the traditions have not changed - to this day grapes are an excellent remedy for diseases and blues. Few people know that there is even a medical technique for treating berries - ampelotherapy.

Recipes
Grape with apples
The combination of grapes and apples is a great solution for those who want to slightly dilute the sweetness of the drink. For cooking, you should take a pound of pink grapes, 3 large green apples, a couple of liters of water, a glass and a half of sugar and citrus additives. This amount of ingredients is enough for one jar.
First wash the apples, remove the middle, then cut into eight pieces. Pour apples with half the sugar, let it soak for about an hour. Next, make steep boiling water, into which we pour the remaining sugar. The next step is sorting the berries - feel free to remove all overripe and rotten parts.
Apples are laid out in clean jars, which are then poured over with the syrup remaining from them. We put grapes on top in combination with some additives.
As additives, you can use citrus fruits or mint.
The composition is poured with boiling water with dissolved sugar, and then left for 30 minutes. After this time, the liquid is poured out of the cans. It is necessary to boil it again in a saucepan, then pour the raw materials. The last action is rolling up the can.
From two grape varieties
An interesting idea would be to make compote from two different grape varieties. To do this, you need 250 g of white and blue berries, a glass of sugar, two liters of water.
We sort through the berries, sort out the spoiled specimens, and then delete them. Wash the grapes well, and then put them in a colander or on a towel until completely dry. After that, the berries are placed in a jar, poured with a liter of boiling water. The container should stand for a quarter of an hour (at least).
Next, we leave the grapes at the bottom, and pour the liquid into the pan, adding a glass of sugar to it.
In order to have enough water, slowly pour in another liter during the boiling process.
This sugar syrup is boiled for up to 10 minutes. The finished mixture is added to the berries, and then closed with a key to seal the preservation.
From grapes and oranges
For this kind of compote, it would be a good idea to take Muscat grapes. Thanks to this solution, the taste and aroma of the drink become much thinner and fresher, and the orange bouquet opens even brighter.
To make compote, take half a kilogram of green and yellow grapes, two large oranges, a couple of liters of water and 200 g of sugar.
Dissolve sugar in water and boil it. The berries are well inspected and only the larger ones are left. Peel off the oranges and carefully remove the pits and veins, trying to lose as little juice as possible. Both ingredients are mixed, and then laid out on the bottom of the jar. Next, pour out the sugar water, roll up the containers and turn them over.
Compote for the winter from the Isabella variety
Such a compote is a great helper in the fight against various viruses and infections that attack so often in the cold season. Cooking it is quite simple. To do this, you will need 350 g of grapes of the desired variety, half a glass of sugar, two liters of water, small additives - mint, lemon, lemon balm.
If you want new flavors, it is recommended to replace lemon with lime.
Wash grapes thoroughly and let dry. Lay them at the bottom of the jar along with lemon, mint and lemon balm, and then add pre-boiled water with sugar. We close the jar with a key, after which we leave it upside down until it cools completely.
From grapes, strawberries and wild berries
To make such an exquisite drink, you need to take 250g of white grapes, a glass of sugar, 2 liters of water, 150g of strawberries and any wild berry.
Boil water, add sugar and peeled grapes to it. On medium heat, the mixture is boiled for about 5 minutes, after which strawberries and berries are poured into it. Leave the pan on the stove for another 2 minutes, then remove the container from the heat, pour the mixture into the jar. As in the above recipes, the jar is rolled up and then left upside down.
From frozen grapes
Many gardeners and gardeners, getting a rich harvest in the summer, freeze some of it, because it is simply impossible to eat all the berries. This is how most housewives like to do it - in winter it is not so easy to find fresh fruits full of vitamins.
Compote from frozen grapes is no different from its fresh "brothers", and in many cases it turns out even tastier. For cooking, you will need 200-300g of frozen grape berries, half a glass of sugar, 3 liters of water and a few slices of lemon or its zest.
Pour cold water into a saucepan, put it on fire. Immediately add sugar to the water and stir well. As soon as the liquid boils, add grapes to it, stir, and then wait for the next boil. You need to cook the grapes for about 5 minutes, after which lemon slices or chopped zest are poured into it. Leave the mixture to cook for another 10 minutes, and then pour over the jar. We roll it up and cool it at room temperature.
Quick drink without rolling
Households are not always ready to wait for the winter season to finally try a fragrant drink. Fortunately, you can make compote from fresh or frozen grapes and drink it right away without the burden of waiting.For such a product, ingredients will be needed: a pound of grape berries, 2 liters of water, half a glass of sugar, spices to taste.

Pour sugar into a saucepan with water, put on a strong fire. As soon as the liquid boils, add grapes and selected additives to it.
