Description
The grape variety "Minsk Rose" was bred by Belarusian breeders in 1952 by pollinating the plant with pollen of hybrid varieties. It is most suitable for growing in the middle Russian zone and is characterized by a sufficient degree of frost resistance - up to -30 ° C. It is considered an early variety, and its ripening period is 100-110 days.
This variety is characterized by a vigorous vine with a powerful stem and a medium degree of foliage. The leaves are medium in size, rounded in shape, have several lobes with sharp narrow teeth.
The inflorescences are bisexual, which means that they have pistils and stamens. The bunches differ in their canonical form. The berries in them fit snugly together, thereby giving the clusters a neat appearance. One bunch can weigh from 200 to 270 g. The berries themselves are medium in size - up to 2–3 cm in diameter, weighing up to 3 g. The peel is rather thin, elastic, and has a delicate pink-purple hue. The pulp is juicy with a small number of seeds, rich pink color.
The clusters on the vine ripen together. Up to 4 kg of crop can be harvested from one plant.Due to the high resistance to low temperatures, the variety "Minsk Rose" does not require shelter. Grapes have up to 25% sugar content, so the berries taste very sweet and juicy. This variety is classified as universal, as it is perfect for fresh consumption, it is especially useful for children, and is also considered suitable for making sweet weak wines.

Landing and care
The most suitable soil for planting grapes "Minsk pink" is black soil. Since this is an early variety, planting can be carried out both in early autumn and late spring. The process is no different from planting other grape varieties. The soil must be fertilized before planting seedlings. Experienced gardeners do not recommend additional feeding for another 3 years after planting - the plant will have enough nutrients until this time.
The first harvest of grapes will begin to give 1-2 years after planting. Further care of the vine consists in timely pruning, garter and fertilizer. During the pruning process, it is necessary to leave up to 10 eyes on one shoot so that future clusters receive enough nutrients for the normal formation of berries. After three years, top dressing is recommended to be done every 2-3 years, depending on the type and condition of the soil in the region. And also we must not forget about the prevention of diseases and stable watering.
