The resulting cherry mixture is filtered through cheesecloth, folded in four layers.
Helpful Hints
- When preparing such fruit drinks, most housewives recommend adding various berries and fruits to them. This technique will make the future drink more tasty and rich.
- Remember, in order for the fruits to give more juice, they should be scalded well with boiling water before use.
- If you want to add honey to fruit drink, then do not forget that this sweet product practically does not dissolve in hot water, so it should be added to the prepared drink.
- To make the taste of your berry juice more saturated and pronounced, let it brew for 1-2 hours after preparation. For such drinks, it is best to use garden or forest fruits, rather than store-bought fruits. After all, they contain the greatest amount of useful trace elements and vitamins.
- Before cooking, be sure to thoroughly rinse the berries with water. After all, they can have a lot of dust and vegetable debris, which subsequently spoil the taste and aroma of fruit drinks and can harm health.
- If you have chosen too ripe berries for the drink, then they should first be soaked in warm salted water for about 40 minutes. This technique will help get rid of the worms that may be in such fruits.
- If you cook cherry juice for the winter, then remember that after it is cooked, it is immediately poured into sterilized jars and tightly closed with lids. Such a drink needs a little time to brew (one day). Then the resulting product can be stored in a cool place.
