Remember that unstuffed fruits of medium hardness and size will be ready after about half an hour of baking in an oven heated to 200 ° C.

Take into account that fruits of different sizes are better baked at different temperature conditions. For example, small apples, the circumference of which is no more than 22 centimeters, are best cooked for about 20 minutes at 220 degrees. Medium fruits, with a circumference of 23 to 32 centimeters, are baked for 25 minutes at 200 degrees. Large apples, with a circumference of more than 32 centimeters, will be ready in 30 minutes at 180 degrees. Compliance with these simple rules will allow you to completely bake the apples and prevent their skin from burning.

The situation is somewhat different with apples baked in foil. Such a dessert tastes much more tender, the skin is almost not felt. The cooking time also varies according to the size of the fruit.

Focus on the cooking time of apples baked in the usual way, given that for baking in foil, the cooking time will decrease by 5-10 minutes.

To make baked apples in the classic way, you first need to wash them thoroughly. If there is wax on the surface, remove it with a sponge.   • 60 grams of finely chopped pistachios;
  • 150 ml of white wine;
  • 80 ml of Calvados;
  • 4 tablespoons grated almonds.

From the apples it is necessary to cut the seeds, forming a funnel with a knife. Oranges must be peeled and divided into slices, then crushed and mixed with citrus confiture and calvados, then distributed into funnels. The remaining milk should be poured into a saucepan, stir in the yolks and vanilla paste, then bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a little more milk to it. The sauce should be simmered over low heat until it thickens.After that, you need to get the vanilla pod, cool the mixture slightly and refrigerate. Chilled sauce can be lightly whipped with a mixer or whisk.

For the preparation of chocolate-apple boats you will need:

  • 1 tsp cocoa;
  • 3 teaspoons of grated chocolate;
  • 100 ml of hot milk;
  • 1 teaspoon starch;
  • 1 egg yolk;
  • a third of a teaspoon of ground cinnamon;
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar;
  • 30 grams of butter.

Fruit should be cut lengthwise into equal "boats", then cut out the seeds and partitions, place the apple halves on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes at 200 ° C.
