Before preparing lingonberry juice, it is necessary to clean all the lingonberries from the antennae and leaves that have fallen into it. It is mandatory to remove all spoiled or dry berries. This also includes white or black fruits. After that, they must be washed well.

If the berry is already frozen, then it only needs to be washed under water, before that, letting it thaw a little.It is not recommended to defrost berries in the microwave or pour boiling water over them, because after that the drink will no longer be healthy and filled with vitamins.

Cooking time

From fresh berries

To prepare it, you will need the following components:

  • 3.5 liters of purified water;
  • 0.7 kg of fresh cranberries;
  • 5 st. l. granulated sugar.

The step by step recipe is quite simple.

  • First you need to prepare the lingonberries. It needs to be sorted out and washed.
  • After that, all the berries must be rubbed through a sieve.
  • From the resulting mass it is necessary to squeeze the juice. The remaining cake must be folded into a bowl and pour water into it.
  • Then the pan must be put on fire. When the mass boils, you need to sweeten it.
  • Everything needs to be cooked for 12-14 minutes. Before the end of the process, add the squeezed juice, stir everything again and boil for up to 5 minutes.

The finished drink can be tasted immediately after cooling.

From frozen berries

This method of preparation is far from the most useful, but still some of the vitamins will remain. Required components:

  • 500 g of frozen berries;
  • 2.5 liters of purified water;
  • 5 st. l. Sahara;
  • 1 PC. cloves;
  • some vanilla.

Cooking consists of several stages.
